These are weird times. I guess its good to be proactive but are we all just going to stay in. our houses till summer?
Please keep politics off the sports forums.
huh? This is hardly fake
Yup, Mayor Turner pulled the plug. I think it is overreacting to a single case in Montgomery county âwith no recent travel hostory.â
Thatâs not true. This whole thread is developing into a political one.

A lot has happened while this thread was lockedâŠ
Yesterday was the turning point. With the Rodeo shutting down, Rudy Golbert and Tom Hanks being infected, the NBA shutting down, etc. Iâd guess that the tourney happening has a 25% chance or less.
The connection between Tom Hanks and the NCAA cancelling the tourney is 0. The tourney would still be 100% on if Rudy Gobert didnât decide to mock the virus and end up testing positive for it himself.
Heâs not saying thereâs a connection. Just that these high profile instances are bringing more attention to the threat this virus poses and more of the public getting on board with the drastic measures needed to flatten the curve. At this point, the tourney should be and most likely will be canceled/postponed.
Lets do it and declare ourselves champions.
Never mock a virus, it has feelings
Itâs actually not. This is all about public perception at this point. And perception is bad when someone you know or recognize has it.
Even if Tom Hanks is in Australia
Travel ban doesnât include Australia. Oops, no politics! Sorry!
I just donât see how conditions will change to allow for the NCAA to start the Dance as scheduled next week.
Vegas now has large odds that MM is gonzoâŠdamn
