No idea on why Brown was in. Lovelace has been hitting well over the last couple of weeks. Guess they were trying to catch lightning in a bottle twice with the freshmen.
I’m assuming that Redden isn’t coming back since he wasn’t the replacement at catcher.

Lovelace probably just worn out. Not a big fellow to begin with and a lot of time behind the plate today.
Aguilar’s injury was a real kick in the nuts; looked so promising. Hoping he can come back next year, but, if it is TJ surgery, may be the following year before we see him.
Villarreal’s performance after his injury makes me think he’s not completely healthy either. Just hasn’t looked like the same guy.
Just couldn’t find any other consistent arms. A little worrisome for next year with Cumbie, Fletcher, Pulido, and Ott all leaving.
