This was always going to be a tough game. The defense is doing as well as can be expected given this style of play and field position.
Offense needs to get a good rhythm going in the second half.

Seems like he really wants to run on first down to make second and third shorter. Other than the last play of the half, we havenât gotten much on runs up the middle.
We need to go to a game plan like the first half against Penn St, just dont even try to run it and every pass is out quick. O-line canât get the job done, that is probably the first coach who needs to go.
Defense actually did a good job in the 1st half. Much better than last year. Donât forget our D last year allowed 41 points in the first 3 quarters.

But Applewhite doesnât believe in an offense like that. He believes in running especially running to set up the pass. So if he wants to run, he needs to fully commit to a real running offense instead of this mess we have

Duarte just tweeted that this is the third game in the last 5 where the offense has been held to 7 points or less in the first half. Thatâs pretty pathetic considering the caliber of defenses weâve been facing
