I really doubt it…batting third assures he will get to bat in the first inning. I mean, what would keep them from walking him if he batted first? We need him in a spot where he can do the most damage. They just walked him and it opened the flood gates to a nice rally.
He is batting third and leads the team in homers…leave him there. What we do is for the rest of the team to step up like they did in the sixth…

It would be for that one inning only, who would want to walk someone to start a game off, not a good omen, and he might get one xtra at bat for the whole game
