Lockhart’s worked a solid 6 innings. Really only made 3 bad pitches; one ended up a double, one ended up as a homer 2 batters later and then the triple…which he then induced a grounder to Davis to get the runner going home.

Looked like it was off the plate, but the UCONN catcher did a great job framing it and the ump fell for it.
Cherry checked swing was questionable as well and probably should have gone down to the 1st base ump.
He has been giving the pitchers off the pate all game long.

UCONN’s Wallace is just about unhittable. Might want to do something on the basepaths here.
