McCaskill

Crap missed that entire era. I have to go back and add Quick and Battle

Almost put a disclaimer for Sims because I knew this would come up.
I will not include him with any of the UH list and will leave it there.

Bryce Beall was pretty good too. Especially his freshman year.

We had a transfer from LSU for one season who was pretty awesome. This was mid to late 2000’s. Can’t ever remember his name.

Lamar Smith was incredible.

EDIT: Just had followed up on Lamar Smith, and he spent 9 seasons in the NFL. Superstar or not, if you’re able to last 9 seasons in the NFL as a running back, that’s saying something right there.

Ryan Gilbert

If I recall Gilbert was hurt a lot when here.

I just remember him making some BEAST runs. Yes, Gilbert. Thanks for that.

Chris Robertson was someone who could been big except for tons of injuries.

He reminded me a lot of Antowain Smith. Maybe not quite as big, but big for a RB and agile and quick. But Chris had terrible luck.

I must have watched that play a thousand times and loved it every time. I wasn’t embarrassed for that guy, I was pumped for Farrow.

Anthony Evans was a hoss that was plagued by injuries.

We’ve had some solid running backs, and like many here I love Farrow.

My guy is Chuck Weatherspoon (Spoooooooon!).

He was our “super back” during my tenure at UH. The human cannonball.

Now we’re talking. That’s where I started my Coogs following was w Paul Gibson in late 60s. Great memories as a kid, even just listening on the radio.

I saw McCaskill’s story, great that he is able to cash in with an endorsement.
