The Pac 12 likes to pat itself on the back for it’s out of the box creative thinking. Sometimes “out of the box” is code for “bat guano crazy”.
This guy has no college athletics experience. They made a mistake with Larry Scott, methinks they are doubling down on stupid.
Well if the "double down on stupid " results in a P5 invite for UH with a huge pay increase, direct path to the playoff, better recruits, and improved competition, and even more facility upgrades; I’d say we all should be cuckoo for cocco puffs right now!
Correct, and if the Las Vegas connection with respect to gambling & publicity for the PAC’s college FB programs also befalls upon UH & UNLV as prospective new PAC members, then I guess we would just have to grin and bear it. And travel west a bit more.

Yes Monte. As you know his family is a prominent force in Las Vegas. Tilman is directly connected with Kliavkoff through the Golden Nugget and MGM. They have to know each other very, very well.
And I’m sure he’s reading them.

First, Tilman is a billionaire owner. Why would he be in the same circle of relationship as a Corporate Division Chief. The new commissioner ran a division of entertainment for MGM. Nice job but he was not the grand poobah.
You know why I know he was not the Grand Poobah. You would not leave a job like that for an athletic commissionership.
I am sure there people on this board who have a much deeper relationship with Tilman than the new commission does.
