I remember the “Houston”… “Cougars” chant at Robertson. Because of the orientation it was students vs alumns. There was NO WAY I was letting some punk noobs out Coog me!

They tried this at TDECU… doesn’t work. Not the same orientation, not the same effect. Still like TDECU though.

I played soccer many times on the field. This was in the late 80’s to early 90’s. We still played in the Astrodome then. Great memories. I can still “feel” the memories.
Robertson like many other concrete stadiums now have “rebar” issues. Unfortunately they can’t be “saved”. Jack Murphy/Qualcomm/SDCU had the same issues. We build a stadium with limited funds but at least we did it. Today/soon we will be playing in the BIG12. Robertson is with us forever.
