04/04 Silver Glove (Game 1) vs Rice - $2 Tuesday (W)

Only 1 day between Rice & at Wichita on Easter Weekend.
Need a dandy from UH starter tomorrow.

Week ahead for UH.

UH should (hopefully) work around the pitching issues & go on a run vs a bad looking AAC.

Wow.

As a baseball conference…

The AAC is barely above the SOCON and the WCC.

OUCH!!!

Glad we’re headed to the Big 12.

The Big 12 move is also why it’s imperative that a new staff and direction is needed after this season

Man oh man. Came to my first game of the season. We are very poor at pitching. Missing the days of Coach Anderson.

I’m watching on ESPN+ and either the lights aren’t very bright at the stadium or the pitching camera is using the wrong filter.

Down 8 to 5 in the 6th.

11-5 Flock b6

CTW saving all his pellets for Conference series

Home plate umpire with 2 tips to the face in a few minutes in the 7th.
The last one was vicious.

Pitching rough today but its 8 to 11 w Lott up in B7 w chance to make hay.

And Lott makes hay

11-11 !!!

Nice !
J Murray w the double. He has been clutch of late.
UH 13-12 close 1 at the plate.

Rice starter went 8 innings on sunday. 1-0 win vs FAU.
Surprised to see #36 in there. A mop up guy.
Shelled (54.00 ERA) his last time out vs FAU.

Some of the games are so hard to watch on ESPN+. The day games are great, but the night games expose some shoddy cameras or something. Not sure.

I’m grateful for the ESPN+ option but it can sure be a challenge at times. Last night the video was often kind of blurry and the audio kept going up and down. Like the microphone was falling away from the callers or something. And occasionally, my TV can sure go on a buffering spree!

That’s one reason why I do not see streaming media ever replacing cable.

Neither streaming media, nor satellite systems, are as reliable as cable.

Streaming often slows down or gets blurry, and back when I had DirectTV, it would occasionally go out during heavy rains.

Cable all the way!

Never is a long time.

The money going in to cable continues to dwindle, so the money spent on infrastructure is dropping, as well. Many “cable providers” are now just basically offering the service via streaming.

Cable isn’t long for this world.
