Overall, we are at -6.14 FTA per conference game.
That’s a noticeable disadvantage. It’s like spotting around 4 pts every team we play in our conference.
I believe they teach in Ref School to favor the home team with foul calls in order to get out of town safely.
However, our 2nd half FG percentage was 30% and UConn’s 2nd FG percentage was 57%.
Throughout the game, we missed 23 more FG attempts than UConn. If we make just 3 more FG, then we win the game. We may not have any control over ref calls, but we do have control over shooting percentage.
Conclusion: shoot the rock better.
