Our schedule is cake. If we are good. If we are average like the last couple years, than year it’s going to be tuff
We don’t have any major long term injuries. All our key guys are good to go
We need it, he needs a breakout year. WRs are one of, if not the biggest concern for our team.
Yes, agree. I am guessing schools will do everything in their power to have a full season. College football took a huge financial loss last year. Programs that pack their stadiums each week were just a vulnerable as programs that are trying to keep their head above water. We all want a full regular and post season.
My post was a sarcastic shot at the ticket office and their ongoing record of bumbling and overall screwing up of anything related to their supposed expertise, the ticket function. I don’t know if this is new to you, and I hope your process goes of flawlessly, but I would also add good luck.
I dont know why we don’t want to give teams in conference any respect, but they have good players too.
We aren’t even going to play the 2 projected best teams in the conference. The bottom to average half of our conference is not good. But who knows maybe all those teams with a losing record some how all turn it around in 1 year at the same time lol. Nobody in our non conference schedule had a winning record last year.
As Bill Yeoman said, “They give out scholarships too.”
That’s not an excuse to accept mediocrity. They purposely schedule easy games, we HAVE to win
Just like us
Russey sounds like a chunk of granite.
twinmom,
What is the “buzz” on Russey that you hear from camp?
Neither did we last year or the year before; so I guess everyone we play is looking at us as a cupcake.
True but bottom line is 8+ is the target all things considered.
Derek says he is a brick wall. Players like him and he has taken on a leadership role with his experience. Great addition to our O line. Good vibes
Great news about Russey!
If our OL is stout look for a very good season.
Exactly, we are supposed to be above that, but hey you can accept being mediocrity if that’s the bar for you
They are my team and I will go to their games and cheer for them whether they go 14-0 or 0-12. I am not accepting mediocrity; I am accepting the fact that regardless of their record, I can do nothing about it. It’s kind of like my kids and grandkids, I love them unconditionally and they don’t have to earn my love, they always will have it.
But if you want to only support them when they are winning, that’s up to you. Of course, withholding support won’t help them get better; but then again, that’s your bar.
