How does me saying it’s a must win season mean I only support them if they are winning? That makes absolutely no sense. I’m literally agreeing with the coach and AD and every football player on the team that has said this is the year we have to turn it around. But ok lol, I’m not talking about support and love. We are all cougars fans we are going to do that no matter what. But that’s not going to win us games, if you are cool with 0-12 and that doesn’t bother you than fine, good on you. But Dana and the AD and the players don’t feel that way, they shouldn’t accept losing, and neither should the fans who spend thousands of dollars supporting the team. I’m not the bad guy because I said it’s time to win. 99% in the program agree

Maybe you should reread your post I replied to. You basically said that I accept mediocrity, if I don’t demand better; as if I can change anything.

Yeah If you don’t demand better than 2nd fewest wins in the AAC the last 2 years, or you are ok with losing to teams with losing records just because we also had a losing record, than that’s accepting mediocrity. Believe it or not fans have a voice. No you can’t actually go out there and play. But the program understands fans point of view. Tune and Dana talk about it all the time, they understand the fans are getting impatient. Just having die hard coogs fans like us who will support no matter what isnt going to cut it. Fans are what makes the program money. And there is nothing wrong with demanding or voicing frustration about the team you love and spend money on, especially if they keep losing.
And If you don’t want to take my word for it about the schedule, or look at history of the teams we play. At least take the AD word for it because he basically admit to scheduling easy on purpose. Which there is nothing wrong with that. I completely agree with him

Oh, are you demanding better? And just how are you going to back up your demands? Are you threatening to hold your breath until you turn blue? There’s nothing you or I can do, my sentiments are still as I posted above. You can rant, argue, boycott, or whatever you want; but I am still going to stay the same and Pez, Renu, and Tillman will still do as they think best. And I will support their actions or inaction,

BTW, I can understand voicing frustrations, and have on rare occasions.
It would be great for Tune to have a great year and go to the Senior Bowl… although i thought Tune will be a junior this year, because of the extra year from covid?
Yeah I’m starting to feel like this is Tune last year either way. Hope he makes the best of it. We should have a QB for the future if he decides to leave. Or at least finally bring in a transfer

Most people still call them by what they are and even if they have an extra year or eligibility. Then they call them 5th year seniors or super seniors. It’s a lot easier that way, especially for awards. Like I don’t think Tramon Mark should be eligible for all freshman team next year lol. But who knows maybe basketball is different
I know I’m probably way too optimistic but based on all these early watch list for awards, our team is pretty stacked. I mean we are very old and have a lot of experience. Every time I hear a player and coach speak I get more excited. I’m bumping my prediction up from 8 wins to 10-3.

Kmoney, i am getting more and more of a good feeling about our team. Really happy Tune is a captain. That leadership role can help push him to big things this year.
