We lost to Texas in Austin one year 50-0. I watched Coach Yeoman’s show the next day and from the video he showed it looked like we had won.
Coach Yeoman was very good at that.

Dana doesn’t sugarcoat this is very much a positive thing. Go watch Dana interviews from the past and how he talks about the team compared to now. He is way more confident

It sounds like Holman can take it from Ike though. Holman may be an up and comer in our QB room. With the years he has left, he in a tie situation, it might be preferable to have him continue to gain experience in the system.
If Holman has already played in 20 college games then he has more experience than Tune.

But his experience is at juco level.
The QB position has become something we can believe in.

He might be our started next year if Tune leaves. Unless Maddox or Sofian make a huge jump or we bring in a transfer.
Maddox is a true freshman, I think he has a good future; but needs to be developed. If Soffian doesn’t step up over this year, he may not be right for QB and may need to switch positions.
The fact that Holman Edwards, in his first camp in this system, is ahead of Soffian is pretty telling in my opinion. But you never know when kids will flip that switch and the light comes on.

Maddox will be redshirted to learn system. Massoud needs to step up.
Maddox has that raw talent. He’s 6’5 210 with a huge arm. He just needs to get his IQ up, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he made a massive jump next year. I think either way we will bring in a QB from portal, and have a competition

Yes, I’m a little concerned that Massoud hasn’t stepped up to take a backup role yet.
He is very talented. I wanted to see him on the field to see what he can do.
I hope he continues to develop.
Dang, Mulbah Car has been here since Tom Herman. That’s crazy. We have a pretty experienced group in the backfield. Hopefully the O-line opens the holes.
Sofian has a great mindset and works really hard. But I have a feeling he might either transfer or change positions. I’d think as a redshirt freshman, who also came to campus early his freshman year. Should be fighting for second string. But he might be 5th string, We don’t know if Maddox is in front of him in the depth chart. And no offense to the other guys but it’s not like he’s going up against 4/5 stars or touted transfers. He can’t beat our Walk ons and JUCO guys. I think after this year he will either transfer or change positions
