Need to run some plays for Tyson where there is picks involved to get him open and then he can also learn to be a decoy and make that extra pass to an open teammate. Coaches will make it happen!!

Problem with Tyson is he’s small and slow, and thus a liability on D

He needs to become much quicker laterally and physically stronger.

Lateral quickness yes, but with those legs he looks like he could squat six plates without breaking a sweat. Built like a fullback.

I like Tyson and will not give up on him. However, he is who he is. His a pure bomber who will always have trouble matching up with teams like Memphis and WSU from this season. I don’t know that he will ever be a regular rotation guy as long as we are staying with 4-5 guards in the rotation and not 6.
I love having him and he is the perfect guy at the end of the bench who can be used as a specialist if he is willing to stay with that role.

Besides a scoring guard the Coogs are going to need another guy like Gorham. He has come along way from last year to this year. I know we got Fabian but we need another big who can do the same things like Gorham!!

You guys can speculate all day long about every player that hits the portal but Like Sampson said in the post game we recruit certain types of player. Stars and name don’t matter to him. He will only sign a certain type player that as he says I don’t mind losing with. He says we might recruit a player that doesn’t mean we would sign said player. Also Sampson mentioned about building a roster and his players being unselfish and team guys who don’t care about stats, only winning. Said our guys must buy into their roles.

So you guys might be surprised by who Sampson adds. It is much more likely to be a name like Justin Gorham from a Townson State than a big name high star guy who is disgruntled by playing time at a big name school.
