Teams to root against? The cows, the cows and the cows… Other than that… Memphis

Any bracket that has UConn as a fourth seed should be ignored. They will lose in the first round.

I’d say we’re locked into a 5-seed. Too many teams like Arkansas doing big things to get and stay ahead of us.

Seeding doesn’t matter. There is not a dominant team and any team 1 though say 30 has a good chance of winning on any given night.

Heck the Coog team if it plays like it did yesterday, has a chance to go to the Final Four again.

For the first time in a month or so, the Coogs looked like the Coogs. Roberts might be that secret sauce like Deeky was. We will see.

More lazy “analysis”, but then again what would one expect from someone who goes by Tyler Perry?

Take that back. Anyone who has seen any of my movies knows I’m the king of analysis.

False. But getting to a 3 seed is a big jump over being a 4 seed.

We will have to agree to disagree. I don’t see much difference between teams 1-16. Also the talent is so evenly spread out, I think once you get past your first game, you are basically playing the same talent level. There is no team to avoid this year.

After yesterday I honestly think the Coogs have a shot. If they play like yesterday.

4-seeds are also protected for regional location

We want a top for 4 and better to be a 3 to avoid the top seed

@Coog51 and @coogrr72

seeding makes a difference, but I did remember incorrectly. There is a big jump for making second weekend from 5 seed to 4 and also from 3 to 2.

We do not want a 5 seed as opposed to a 4 seed. It makes a 13% difference in odds of making it to the sweet 16, let alone farther.

Lunardi has us a 5 seed.

Arkansas and Alabama will probably get big wins in the last 2 weeks and allow them to move up

Uconn, Texas, UCLA, Ohio St, St Marys. Those are teams i see us fighting for seeding with

Pretty much what I was thinking about SMU and Memphis getting an at-large. They will need to beat us in their 2nd matchups.

Lunardi has let all that black hair dye seep into his head….I used to respect the guys opinion but he is almost as bad as Palm now.

I think we’re going to be a 2 bid league. Assuming the tournament hold true to seeding, I think the winner of the SMU - Memphis game in the conference semi-finals gets the second bid.

With our lack of depth, I don’t think we end up winning the conference tournament either. Too many games in too short of a period of time. Another team will likely get the autobid.

SMU is probably out unless they won the AAC Tournament. Between Houston, SMU, and Memphis the Ponies have the worst non con SOS and not enough Q1 to cancel out the bad losses

Memphis on the other hand has the most Q1 wins (4) and best noncon SOS between the 3 so even if they lost to us they can likely save themselves by beating USF + 2 games in the AAC Tourney

Probably, but if SMU beats Memphis in the tournament and for the third time this season, it could be tough to give Memphis a bid over SMU. Plus, Memphis has their NIT title to defend.

We have put ourselves in position to be the favorite to win the tournament.

This may be the craziest March Madness of all-time. There are so many good teams this year. The battles are going to be non-stop the first four days. It’s finally time for Congress to do something meaningful and make the first Thursday and Friday of the NCAA Tournament national holidays. It’s just the right thing to do.
