I think his first coaching job will be QB’s coach, probably for an NFL team.
Do we know for sure he wants to coach? Or is this just wishful thinking? I know his dad was a coach.
No. People are projecting what they want on him. There’s at least an equal chance that he doesn’t do anything in coaching and directs his efforts more toward the ministry or just enjoying his family.
Maybe he really is one of those guys who can’t live without football, but that’s not the sense I get from him.
I’ve always thought he wanted to coach at the high-school level where he could have a greater impact on the young men’s lives.
I went to an event last year and overheard him talking about plans he had and they may or may not be in addition to other plans, who knows.
We can speculate on what someone may do, but only he truly knows, and that’s okay.
Last night about midway through the 4th quarter we had had enough. On the way out I saw a colleague at my previous job I hadn’t seen in about 25 years. But he was in the comfy club area mid field on the home side.
He interviewed me on the UH campus in 1987 and that’s how I ended up getting my job out of college.
Everyone was leaving and the doors were open. I tried to sneak in to just say hello but was immediately flagged down by security since I didn’t have a wristband. I was told to leave immediately. Oh well, was kinda pizzed.
So making my way back to my family out comes the great Case Keenum from the club. I said “Case?” and he smiled and put his hand out. Shook hands and I said “thanks for all you do” and tapped him on the shoulder.
Made my weekend.
More of this please!
Ha, I met Phillip Hunt in my neighborhood with another cougar fan who lives across the street from him. We all went to a basketball game. It was great. I encouraged him to get back involved. I also teased him about the late hit and taking out the Tulane qb. He got a kick out that.
CK better than the Dr Pepper back up commercial with Ewers.
Case has acting talent and personality. Ewers is stiffer than a 2x4 in those Dr Pepper commercials.
