We used to play name brands just a few years ago but I am thinking we have thrown that towel in for a few meaningless wins

I go back to the big crowds & the best CBaseB tailgate in Texas.
Big part of that was tough schedules w lots of Texas teams to tell the guys off at work and regional powers. Home and away.
Baseball still a sports on every level that the gate can pay the bills.
Iām not sure what the margins are on baseball but they sure as sāt arenāt making ends meet with all these lowest level regional teams.
For those that werenāt around back in the day, here is the start of the schedule from 20 years ago

And that was CWS quality Riceā¦ā¦back when we had lots of players drafted and an RPI in the top 20 if not top 10 with NO P-5 affiliation.
I never went to a baseball game while at UH but I did have season tickets for several years after graduation during the Noble years. That was during the Snyder, Lincoln, Wagner, Sullivan, Bourne timeframe (just rattling off names I can recall). Those were fun years even if going .500.in OOC was a challenge since we never did well at the MM Classic.

Roster remains a mystery. A few guys landed in new homes:
Derrick Cherry- McNeese State
Nathan Medrano- Texas State
Patrick Dunn-Wichita State
Tab Tracy- Texas A&M
Skyler Trevino-Little Rock
Iād bet they post roster when break for Holidaysā¦always sucks for those that got the Grim Reaper visit right before holidays

They look sharp but 90% of my guys use Wilson A2000 or the A2K.
Are the players forced to use ONLY Marruci gloves?
