I wouldn’t worry about the finger. It will be fully healed in 2-3 weeks most likely if it’s just a normal fracture.
Now for the other injury I hope he gets it healed. Rumor is that it was a groin injury mid-March. During the game against NKU he was stretching his inner thigh. I had a groin issue and a year later I still have to stretch really well and make sure I have to sit a certain way to make sure it doesn’t flair up. But I still go out and play basketball and workout so J’wan should be fine especially if he’s able to sprint during practice. I’m sure the staff have him doing what he needs to do to recovery post practice and throughout the day.

our front cour sitatuion didnt look on paper, you dont have to pretend it does… it doesnt…
our projected starting 5 played a combined 2 minutes the last 4 games of the season, the 10 games before that he was averaging like 7minues and 2 fouls … then not 1 backup has any D1 experience…not a single 4 or 5 on roster has shown any shootings capability not even mid ranges …then all the main rotation bigs are 6’7 or 6’8 all under 235lbs
we can have real conversation without pretending every thing is great… the front court situation on papaer wasnt good
and it definitely got “worse”. and the most notable player of our frontcourt, j’wan just announced an injury that is keeping him from practicing…a player that was placed on an expectation of serious growth …that he would go from not even taking 1 mid-range all season to a guy taking multiple 3s a game next season, an unprecendent jump… a jump that now will have a limited offseason…
jwan not having a major offseason is not good news, now matter how you try to spin this into “everything is great”

And you don’t have to argue everything or maybe you do.
To say we have been in any sort of bad shape is total nonsense.
So yes to say things have gotten worse is simply a dumb or at least stubborn take.
And it is not shining anything to say this is not that big of a deal but I certainly expected you in particular to react since you consider us to be in such bad shape.
Now as a coach and athlete myself I will say anything can be turned into a positive. Having this happen now can be a positive in terms of the development of others players and our team. It can add a little more sense of urgency by having to play without our front court leader.

To my knowledge none of those players were recruited with NIL. Again I’m just speculating based off things other people have said that I’m taking to be true such as the idea that touted bigs are fetching lofty NIL deals on the transfer portal/market and that we supposedly don’t promise guys NIL deals as a recruiting tool.
Mr. Sandoval set the bar really high. I hope his work inspires a young videographer to carry on the tradition

I agree with the NIL, just not the sour feelings which I know Sampson mentioned during the HRR interview but it sounded contradictory because he got Cryer and Dunn without any sour feelings from Sharp and Arc…

It is not as much about bringing in players as it is bringing in the right players who fill a clear need.
There is zero contradiction to what he has stated.

Laugh. Yeah they have totally proven themselves. I mean, one of them he wouldn’t play in games that mattered unless he had to for a minute. The other three haven’t played a single minute for him. But they have totally proven themselves to CKS. Got it.

Our starters are bringing in experience so incorrect that he has placed all his eggs in one basket. Our has seen Francis for 2 years so yeah I am pretty sure they have a better understanding than progs of what he has with him.
We will have young backups.
