We haven’t really had more than two outside gunners capable of high volume until this season.
We have three starters to go with two reserves both showing consistency.

I think another factor is the continuity of having almost everyone back from last year - the shooters have put in the work to get better, and they’re also getting a higher volume of good looks. Roberts’ passing and overall offensive game is a big part of that, too.
4 guys shooting over 40% is nuts. Tech, who is touted for having 3P shooting, only has 2.

Terrance is also 1 good game away from 40% too because his volumes are low… was 40% 4 games ago but has gone 0-3 since then
he went 4-5 vs byu… if he did that again he’d be over 40

the difference is teams like BYU, Alabama, and Tech play fast (at least compared to us) then their shot diet contains way more 3s compared to us
I do believe that is as many over .4 as we have had total in the prior 7 seasons . . . . .

I don’t think we can overstate the impact Mylik has had on this year’s team. That guy isn’t a “back-up” - he’s a legit 6th man who comes in and changes the game. His shot doesn’t always fall, but he always elevates the defense and rebounding when he comes in, and he’s figured out how to take care of the ball.
Dude went from being basically a “squad” player to a crucial part of the rotation.

By far the most improved player on the roster is Mylik Wilson, then JoJo. You could say Milos but he is just getting comfortable in what CKS knew he could do.
Uzan’s first 15 Big12 games 71 assists 13 turnovers.
Uzan’s last 5 Big12 games 10 assists 14 turnovers
The team went 5-0 which included 4 Q1 games, but those TO numbers are a bit concerning.

Part of the drop in assists is because Sharp hasn’t been making shots and because Cryer has been creating his own shots more. But he’s been more susceptible to trying to losing the ball in traps and when he leaves his feet without a target in sight.
You can live with those that come from trying make things happen instead of just playing it safe, and his increased drives and scoring will come with more TOs. He needs to clean it up a little, though.
