It’s hard to say how much TA will help us offensively, but he’ll definitely help on the defensive end, especially when we play a team like Iowa State. Last year thier 6’8” forward Milan Momcilovic went off when we guarded him with a 6’2” guard. That’s where I think we really missed having a 6’6” ish defender like TA.

Our bigs did a great job when we had to matchup them up with shooters but TA was really missed in a few games. ISU is a great example along with Utah, BYU, Baylor, OU and the last game vs Duke.

I’m higher on TA than some others here.
IMO, TA was missed tremendously, both offensively and defensively. He has great composure on the court. He doesn’t take bad shots, rebounds and is a good passer. His defense is solid. He is a complete player in my book.
I’m looking forward to seeing him on the floor again. He’s a difference maker.

Some just can’t look past three point percentage. Some also think he was hesitant to shoot which I don’t think was the case most of the time. Outside of not taking shots down the stretch of close games I think he pulled the trigger when open. If healthy, he will progress throughout the season and be quite the beast on both ends by the end of the season.

The GVL Practice Facility is top notch. No reason UH should take a back seat to any school. Sampson, the administration and donors made this happen and they did a great job.

I hope everyone knows what a special time this is. Sampson and Co. have set the standard so high we will be disappointed if we don’t make it past the sweet 16. Truly a Golden Age and something we should all be proud of. The past few seasons have all been special but we look the deepest we’ve ever been. This will be another great ride to enjoy with our B-ball team
