Best Basketball conference gives ESPN some eye balls on their streaming. They are paying so we play on plus, hoping everyone watches.
This made me super curious, so I looked up our 3 point stats for the year. Wow! I donât remember ever having a team shoot it this well (Iâve been a fan since the late 90s).
#1 Mylik = 53.3% (8 of 15)
#2 Ramon = 50% (2 of 4)
#3 Sharp = 48.7% (38 of 78)
#4 Jojo = 42.9% (3 of 7)
#5 LJ = 41.2% (40 of 97)
#6 TA = 40.6% (13 of 32)
#7 Uzan = 37.5% (18 of 48)
It falls off significantly after Uzan with Mercy at 26.3%, but itâs crazy to have 7 guys shooting better than 35% half way into the season, even though some of them have very few attempts.

Yes thatâs a huge part of the high percentages is taking good shots but his mid range game is very legit.
Our game vs UCF this Saturday is at 11 on CBSSN. Best news is it wonât overlap with the Texans game. Earliest time the Texans could play is 3:30 Saturday

Something else I noticed is the fouls are down from 17.8 to 16.8 per game which I know doesnâ t seem like a lot but in terms of rankings that puts us at 153rd in fouls per game this year versus 255th last year.
Other little nuggetsâŠ
Weâve improved a half block per game going from 4.8 to 5.3 improving our rank from 28th to 17th
3 point % has gone from 34.5 to 41.5 improving our ranking from 133rd to 2nd
Opponent offensive rebounds per game improved from 8.8 to 7.3 improving our ranking from 198th to 35th
Here is another good stat. Weâre near the bottom in possessions per game ranked 347th at 66.6. Little change from last year where we were ranked 348th at 66.4 possessions per game. But we average 77.1 points per game (90th) compared to last year at 73.5ppg (144th).

I heard a stat that going into the last game, we had blocked almost 20% of the opponentsâ 2-point attempts. Insane.
