Seems like a pretty bad culture mismatch. The kind of player attracted to playing in Hawaii (often site-unseen, as they can’t always fly recruits out there) are probably not the kind that want to play for that kind of coach.

First hand, I’ve watched and listened to Sumlin be a straight up d!ck to alums in one-one and group situations.

Dang, Sonny Dykes is assembling a hell of a staff at TCU. The Tulsa DC is pretty good considering the talent level. And his offesne will look the same since he’s bringing over Garrett Riley as the OC. Curious to see if he gets a high profile quarterback in the transfer portal.

Clemson is about to lose their O.C. to UVA after losing their D.C. earlier. This is potentially huge. IMO Clemson had the very best college football coaching staff.

I do too. He is an avid fan of 3-4 defenses which happened to be my favorite. By the way I do not know what Mr. Phillips is planning on doing but I could sure see him as a “consultant” to CDH and CBelk.
Solid hire for teetech. His Air force defense days were solid. We have some “payback” on the line.

Kelly so/so at UCLA these days but w Oregon’s resources it should be a happy reunion.
PV has one of the highest FCS budgets, bigger than some FBS schools. PV is also a beloved HBCU (multiple family members of mine are PV alums) with decent fan support and a new stadium, so they dont have a hard time recruiting FCS talent and transfers.
Sumlin could do well over there IF its UH or A&M Sumlin. If its Arizona Sumlin…not so much
