I dont like weed. I think its for losers/lost souls but i sure would let my players smoke it if they wanted to. Hope Willie is the same.

Do you guys realize how rancid this is at base level? To give your hard earned cash for trinkets, to enrich, and placate an 18 year old kid who dosen’t give a damn about you or your school.

So you would let your players be losers and lost souls?

My thinking may not be the same as theirs. Thats just my personal views and not others. I respect their decision.

Losers and lost souls because they smoke weed? Wait until you hear they listen to Rap music. Some even drink alcohol.

Thanks to this judge, we may be seeing tranfer portal chaos all over. Glad we have Fritz to be a calming voice.

You do know that it is still illegal to possess or use in Texas? Are you encouraging our players and coaches to violate the law?

Maybe that’s why our team couldn’t tackle. Our defenders were seeing 3 guys with the ball.

Farting?

But it’s decriminalized in Harris County…up to 4 oz.

Most of the UH players in the transfer portal have some kind of NIL deal. If they transfer, it opens more money for new players who want to be at UH. We can continue with the current players, and expect 3-6 wins next year, or we can try and upgrade and maybe have 6-7 wins next year.

Do you realize we are grown a$$ adults and can spend our discretionary income on whatever we would like to?

Harris county may not be enforcing the law but they cannot repeal state law. The law in Texas is that it is illegal to possess any amount.

Maybe it wasnt weed, maybe it was hemp bud, which is not technically illegal in TX, so long as it has no more than 0.03% d-9 THC.

Willie has implemented a farting ban

This transfer stuff has gotten WAY WAY WAY out of hand. It is LITERALLY free agency for EVERYONE EVERY year with the 2nd time transfer rule being thrown out too. I’m all for players getting some $ but we gotta put some serious guard rails up compared to literally NOTHING in terms of rules/regulation. There is no other professional or amateur sport that operates under any such a mercenary style business model.

They are free just like all students are free to transfer.

They can’t be paid like that. Now a player can ask if he can advertise for a company and how much they pay but the rules prohibit a school or its boosters from directly offering money to play.

This is why the NCAA is so _____ worthless.

I saw Boogie Ellis doing a commercial for CVS last night. That is exactly what NIL was meant to allow.
