Are you insulting me and/or my intelligence for my opinion Pollardsvision?
Next one?
Justin Medlock, a 220 pound LB from Utah, originally from Missouri City, is in the portal and has a UH offer.
Three years of eligibility left.
Just stating my opinion in the same way you did yours….you insulted everyone’s intelligence who currently does or would like to donate to UH NIL.
You don’t know which players “ give a damn about UH”
If you had said you were not giving “im not giving my hard earned cash” instead of “your” and telling us what we were doing was wrong I would not respond to you….but you did more than “give your opinion”.

Pollard is a Texas college baseball legend but a total Karen. Best to blow off most of what he has to say.
Great to have you back pepper….always appreciate what you add to the board.
Yes for the next 14 days

Fart chart on the wall. Measure your commitment to nutrition
They can tell if you haven’t eaten your vegetables Sukie.
Lawyers, is this localized to only those in the 6th circuit, or nation wide?
I understand that Due, but why even bother having them sign a National Letter of Intent. Commitments mean zilch.
At least in pro football you can root for a team which will normally have the same players from year to year unless they are traded or retire or free agency.
But, bottom line is this for me…I am a University of Houston fan and would be happy for the Cougars to win in any sport…
They attend UH and put on our jerseys. That’s still UH to me.
But they aren’t tied to or indebted to UH. Gone are the days of telling kids to be grateful for their scholarships…Everyone could see how much money the product was worth but the players got none out of it. Things are balancing out, and now the players have freedom and upper mobility. That used to be called the American Dream
I remember we were recruiting him in the 22 class . He would be a good pickup
Not a lawyer, but nationally.
In the locker room though?
None of us on this board are indebted to UH and owe the school nothing.
It will not take long for big donor alums to be turned off by the situation and the SEC will be able to play each other for a national title every year. Texas will be piling up national titles in the years to come.
But our dear old government and IRS is going to love all the new taxes lol…
Pollard, you should know by now not to listen to things you hear and not to count on anyone we’ve offered until they arrive on campus. I have long ago adopted a cynical attitude about recruiting and not count on anything.
I guess for me, I see UCF landing highly rated recruits. SMU too. I think that’s a direct result of their NIL programs.

Honestly to me one of the worst aspects of this entire deal is going to be the lack of guys graduating.
When I played and even my son one of the reasons we worked so hard was to get most of school paid for via scholarships….it was not lost on us how important that was……most of these guys are not going to be high level professionals….as such there will be no generational wealth….going to be a lot of guys who have been to college 4-5 years and not even be close to a degree.

Harris county may not be enforcing the law but they cannot repeal state law. The law in Texas is that it is illegal to possess any amount.
Kids these days are using Delta 8 and Delta 9. Gets you just as (sometimes!) high as weed but legal. There’s a smoke shop or every corner selling edibles and vape pens.
TECHNICALLY another circuit could rule differently if a similar case came up, but given this precedent, they are now much more likely to rule similarly, using that court’s reasoning as the existing law.
