As much as Nate I doubt it. I rarely make those kind of predictions here. Im more optimistic than anything else. I can also put something in here that half of the members already know. If it comes true great. If not well the trust goes away more often than not if you keep missing.
You want to give us some % #s since you’re keeping up w all that. It’s ok to give someone credit when they called it before it happened. But no need to call out someone else that might have missed on one. You’re good at that.
You still want to dispute that you & few others on here thought that ULL Collective NIL was offering their QB $500k+ to stay. So that meant UH was offering at least that.

We are moving from a 4-2-5 to a 3-4. Systematically some players just won’t fit and naturally will enter the portal.

The DC said the base was 3-4 but would shift to other formations. I don’t know what you need for that but I am sure Coach Wood does.

I love any defense that can stop 3rd and long or 4th and 20. Haven’t seen that defense from our Coogs in years.
I would guess these will be the starters up front:
DE Keith Cooper
NT Anthony Holmes (could change)
DE Quindario Lee
Looking strong at end where we’ll also have Zykeius Strong and Brandon Mack. I’m not yet sold on NT, but we need to see what we’ve got in Xavier Stillman and Everett Rogers and also how Justin Benton, Taleeq Robbins, and Hakeem Ajijolaiya have developed since last year. It could be that we’ll have maybe 3-4 solid guys but no stand out.
I think Brandon Mack will have a breakout year
Let’s see how the Spring TP goes. Some starters may not be on the roster. I like CWF’s chances of getting transfers better than the other guy.
I don’t know enough to know how well it works for others. But I do know some of our best defenses of this century have been under a 3-4 using fast LBs who know how to tackle. Pundits would always say they were undersized… but they could rush, cover, gang tackle like crazy. And they could get some turnovers too.
