Kelvin says UH will play a neutral-site game “in the northeast” this season - but does not say if it’s a non-conference game or a league game. Also says they’ll play at Toyota in a game (and one in Birmingham on 11/16).

Northeast game, hmmm. CKS’ buddy Buzz Williams is at Maryland now. Maybe a game in DC/Baltimore?

I live only 3 hours away from Birmingham! The 11/16 game will be first time at a Houston game since the Final Four in 2021. Thank you for this update

This is a guess - no inside info - but I think it’s Kansas at MSG. Yormark wants the Big 12 in that market. Think it would be a league game - not OOC like Mexico City was supposed to be.

last year as our best team, and toughest non conference… this year migt be an even better team on an even tougher non conference
(also oakland, towson and Lehigh as known buy games, who are all quality for buy game standards)

I’m not sure how the Coogs are ranked pre-season #1 but it’s not a bad thing! They have some question marks but should still be really good!

the team debate as #1 with us is purdue– they had terrible defense and didnt nothing to change it
then st johns… they dont have a pg/playmaker in their projected starting lineup… and a team of all trasnfers… little history together
byu- their center is 6’8, dybansta is likely at the 4 at 210lbs - can be bullied down low
duke - is extremely reliant on freshmen… before anyone says, we are too… duke needs its freshmen to be stars… we just need our freshmen to be role players . boozer and dame sarr who have not played a 1 game of D1 have to be all-americans for duke to be title contenders (maybe sophomore evens who only played 13mins a game last year),…
uconn - uconn wasnt good last year, only notable addition is adding 13pt transfer silas demery and are now considered tender… no major changes
Florida - a team reliant on guard scooring, that doesnt have 1 returning scoring guard and reliant on transfer and 1 from a low major ,…
this is everyone debated as the #! team

What do you think about NC State? They have some talent.
a early favorite to underwhelm… in not sure where the offense is going to come from beyond darrion williams… a ball dominant darrion williams isnt that scary when you can focus your defense on him… relying on a n international center… there is nothing scary about them, they added a bunch of 5-10 pt transfers and darrion williams … they need terrance to do an semi-efficent 15pts per or the 5star freshmen (not a top 20) … i just dont see it … they needed haggerty…
