Seems like we have a healthy roster entering June workouts. Should soon be getting an update on McFarland and if Milos will be getting any time off. Harwell and Cenac will have a couple weeks here before heading of to under 19 USA tryouts.

Gray & Wilson were both at .359 so I rounded up.
25/18 are the outliers.
We have Sharp and Uzan coming back, but we lose Cryer. I don’t think we have anyone on the roster to replace him, but we could have a few guys who could be good to really good from 3, McCarty, Cenac, Mercy, Walker…
I think .370 is a reasonable expectation next year, that would get us in the top 30ish.

Hopefully Wilson gets more attempts up this year. This shot was looking pretty good before he went down last year.
If we’re in the 37.5% range, we’ll be tough to beat.
And I’m pretty sure Wilson won’t get more shot attempts this year.

That’s Walker, not Wilson.
One problem. Rebounding numbers will go down if more 3’s are made.

That isn’t a problem. The goal is to put the ball in the hole. Offensive rebounding is important because it gives you another opportunity to do so. If you can make a basket on your first shot that’s every bit as good as making it on your second shot. Lol

I don’t know that I agree with you saying nobody expects any of our freshman to be a “star player”…
I think a lot of people expect Cenac to be one or the stars on the Coogs next season.
In fact, if he’s not, we probably have a serious problem on offense.

Cenac did like 14per in regular high school (juior) and like 12per in the private school circuit (senior).
Context Ramon did 25per game in high school and mercy miller did 30 per game. That was mostly against high school kids where cenac had a size advantage almost every night…
Ps “Star” in the sense of scorer (i.e. in conversations for national awards etc.)… which I think you agree with me, with your offense comment
I’m not saying this to disparage cenac but to set some realistic expectations… when cenac isn’t doing 16 per game I don’t want to see threads thrashing him … the way they trash grimes (1st yr) and jarace for being 5stars and not putting up crazy points. Or that random fan that kept coming to say milks isn’t an nba player and not good
Let me burst the bubble now, don’t expect offensive flurry from cenac in his only yr here. I don’t expect him to be our star. Those who are, are blinded by the 5star and not looking at his tape/stats …
To counter your last point… I’ve been said I think we are comfortably the #1 team nationally and I have been saying that with full expectation to only expect 7-9 per from cenac… our offense isn’t in trouble if he isn’t a star
