2025-2026 Starting 5 and rotation

The NBA isn’t the only pro league… many former UH players are making good $ in Europe, China and Israel…

I’d be extremely surprised if he doesn’t play overseas for at least 5 years after UH but probably longer…

Not NBA money but, correct.

He’s gonna feed his family better by Practicing against the best every single day. Iron sharpens iron. That’s gonna give him the best opportunity to go play in Europe, the G league Israel, wherever the case.

Not playing a bunch of scrubs and practice every day and And putting up inflated numbers against weak competition.

This is the fan and the human perspective.

I think he’ll be a stud for us next year. He’s a beast! He’ll be our Mylik — but stronger. A different kind of player, but one who will be very effective. And to me, he seems selfless, with a consummate professional attitude and work ethic.

NIL money and relevance. I guess he’s come to the realization that we won’t go to the NBA therefore he’s happy with his role?

Every single player who has transferred out of this program hasn’t been successful….

It’s a cautionary tale for all the players…

You are right about the ‘life issues’. I would go as far to say that there are a few college grads (and up) here. In retrospect, we can see the value of the education, and the diploma, in the long term. BUT would any of you had forgone the school for a chance to make a lot of money right now? It is a hard question.

I would think long and hard before leaving this program and the life long connections that exists. Saying that, I completely understand why TA is leaving. With one year left the the returning/incoming players there are no guarantees from minutes to starting to role on next year’s team. He can be at another program where 25-35 minutes is in every game plan. If everything goes right he can have a great season and maybe get drafted.

Clearly I meant on the court…

RIP Reggie.

I mean he’s not going to miss defensive assignments, he’s gonna rebound and get on the floor for loose balls and he’ll score a little

I have Ramon Walker behind these players based on talent, possible production, & need.

Milos Uzan
Emmanuel Sharp
Pop Issacs
Chris Cenac
Isiah Harwell
Kingston Flemings
Jojo Tugler
Kalifa Sahko

Ramon Walker is battling from 9-10 spot. I dont believe the Florida player will transfer here. UH is just deep. McFarland, Miller & McCarthy will also have something to say about it.

And you currently only have three bigs in an 8 man rotation so definitely room for Walker and/or McFarland. I certainly expect RW to get some time whether or not he is in the rotation for Big 12 play remains to be seen.

Since we seem to have 10 guys who can play we should see Walker in the #9 slot and thus he gets playing time.

This guy has had numerous moments of quality playing time in seasons past.

We need him.

I am looking forward to seeing Walker in the floor. He has adapted his game to his strengths. He has bulked up big-time. He is an asset on defense and a very strong rebounder. I view Walker’s role on the court to be rebounds & defense. Coogs have plenty of shooters. I can easily see Walker playing some meaningful minutes. Plus he’s a battler. Dude has overcome multiple major obstacles. Tremendous team player. Culture warrior. Veteran.

And some of you folks want to axe him and hit the transport portal because someone else might have better skills? WTF?

Walker has earned his spot on this team.

It’s just “people” that don’t know any better….every team needs one or two “Ramon’s”.
