Fair… but I figured given that the non CFP games are a seen now as not very important, I would have thought to make a Non-CFP Bowl Games thread.

While the CFP would deserve its own.

Its a money thing, they did not want to leave a power conference out, and honestly Notre Dame completely controls their schedule, if they wanted a harder schedule they could have scheduled one.

OU quietly made it in. I was not that impressed watching them.

Alabama will somehow make it to the final 4, and the entire college football world will say “You see!!! Alabama DID deserve to be in the CFP…”

After going through all of the “feelings” about the CFP selections, I’m okay with how it shook out. In regards to myself, I’m only really upset that BYU didn’t make it in, due to conference pride and money. I agree with ND not getting in and if we were in JMUs position, we would definitely think we deserved to be in.

All in all, not bad.

Again, and I know it’s a dead issue, but 3 out of the 5 SEC teams could not even win their respective divisions, let alone play for the CCG. And they are arbitrarily included in the playoffs.

Bama has 3 losses including a 14 point loss to a bad team.

The thing with Alabama is, you can’t punish them for being in the SECCG.

Meanwhile Ole Miss and Boomer get to sit at home, on a bye, and make it in?

Now, when it came to BYU, it is, clear as day, that they did get punished.

Huh? They have a home game against Tulane.

Which is crazy because Tulane already lost at Ole Miss this year. The whole “playoff” is a joke.
