i’m all in on OU, i like em, nice campus but mostly because so many just threw OU down saying if bama doesnt win; they are not living up to their standards; excuse me but OU has 7 national championships themselves; how about a little respect to OU !

Fun game. Not always pretty, but love the back and forth.
OU is making the plays but making it too easy for bama to stay in it. if OU doesn’t straighten up at the half, i’d put bama with the win.
Venables wearing a generic (non-OU) basketball hoodie to the College Football Playoffs is an interesting choice.

Venables showcased why OU will never have a chance with him at the helm.
OU was rolling and near midfield. After the receiver dropped a perfect Mateer pass, OU has a 4th and 3. Alabama was coming off a good drive where Simpson got in some rhythm. The OU offense hasnt really been stopped to this point and they are at home. Given the corcumstances I think that was a clear go for it scenario.
Venables opts to punt, the snap is dropped, and its the start of early Xmas presents for Alabama.
I like strategy and appreciate coaches that know when to be aggressive. Venables has always coached scared and it showed there. If OU loses you can look to that decision as the turning point in the game.

was really hoping OU would win, always liked OU and the bama hype machine is almost as bad as the texas hype machine.

Venables should have changed out of the hoodie at halftime. Poor decision making in the wardrobe department will kill your chances every time.
