why would cincy go for 2?

Makes you wonder if adding just Houston and BYU would have been enough to stabilize the big 12 enough to raid the pac 12 later

I just don’t want anyone calling UCF our rival. Because they aren’t. They can have a rivalry with USF or Florida State or Virginia something

ACC would’ve jumped at one of those schools at a moments notice

Strategically, both UCF and Cincy are necessary because it gets us access to both the state of Ohio and Florida.

If we can add Miami or FSU (or both), then Big 12 would have the entire geographical footprint of Florida (vs. SEC), and we we would also have a school directly competing with Ohio State (vs. B1G)

Agree w/ you 3rd ward coog2. Cincy had a bad bowl game today but their last 3 years in Big 12 football on whole has been just as good (dare I say better) than UH’s track record. And UCF brings Florida (despite a super crowded state w/ UF, Miami and Fl St.). They are both well known national names despite (like UH) - not being the ā€˜flagship school’ in their respective states.

I’d say both their profiles are higher than Wa State or Or. State.

I am writing about the people on this board who said they hoped Tech would lose, before the game…its a bad look, we need to support our league champ, who ever it is. We can solve the problem of how Tech always embarrasses itself and their league in games like this by beating them and winning the Big 12 ourselves.

I’d like Arizona to beat SMU

I’d like SMU to get another death penalty while we’re at it.

What happened with SMU? They were the big spenders during conference realignment but haven’t heard much from them this season or being big portal players. Maybe I just missed it.

Was thinking that myself earlier, I havnt been following them this season

Some hype earlier this season, but that died out after they got beat by Baylor and TCU.

Considering Duke won the ACC, SMU has been overshadowed by others in their conference.

…Arizona Secondary acting really suspect rn

They beat Miami and are 8-4. Up early on Zona. About to score another TD.

The Big 12 finishing 0-4 is not ideal.

Arizona is a 2nd half team, IN THAT STATE THEY ONLY PLAY HALF THE GAME

We were down 14-0 too but this feels different. Feels like Cats need a TD on this drive.

The heck was that ref doing?

Zona getting killed by Jennings. His unorthodox style has them on their heels. This might get ugly

Nope- that check won’t bounce either!

PEDO State should not be playing football right now- or ever- if it was up to me.

Yeah - its going to get ugly. Expect better from the flagship university of Arizona … in theory Ariz should have what it takes to succeed in the NIL era … maybe they’ve simply gone over-board on being thrown all in w/ resources at basketball.
