Whatever is the point spread, take Indiana.
Currently at Indiana -7 1/2
Sure looks to me like Indiana is the better team, but I could be wrong.
Really just want to see a good game.
I hope we get Michael āCrazy Personā Irvin on the sidelines.
Indiana is indeed a great team and should be the favorite to beat Miami. I would just like to point out that 28 of Indianaās 56 points came from turnovers. If Miami can hold on to the ball it should be a good game.
its gonna be snowing on the sidelines in Miamiā¦
Just a couple numbers I was curious about so ran the math.
Big 12 and ACC non-CFP games TV viewership. Something that comes into play for future contracts.
ACC with 3.3 million viewers on average (9 games)
Big 12 with 3.9 million viewers on average (7 games)
Miami does, at least in theory, have the āhome fieldā advantage, BUT, because IUās fans have been showing up in such vast legions at their other playoff stops, itās hard to believe that wonāt be present en masse for this game as well.
As for Miamiās defenseā¦IUās Heisman Winner was unstoppable in the last game. Miamiās defense has got its work cut out for them.
That said, I just want to see a good game. Not really rooting for either side.
I root for whoever plays the āUā
I donāt know how any red-blooded UH fan can root for Miami, after Miami spoiled UHās season and David Klinglerās Heisman chances in 1991 with a 40-10 drubbing in the Orange Bowl.
And no, I donāt hold grudges.
This is another ludicrous article. Read what the author came up with:
āIf you expand to 24 teams, the best teams can take even three or four losses and still have a spot ensured in the CFP.ā
No sir, a three or four losses team will/should never get into the cfp.
Who is the author?:
Is this guy an actual awards voter? Seems like he is.
Clearly the ones that are against a 24 teams cfp are the same ones that only consider two leagues. With that mindset we all know where the cfp is heading to.
This is probably behind a paywall, but in summation:
ā⦠donāt confuse this with a real underdog story. Those might be a thing of the past. Unlike Norman Dale, the coach in the film Hoosiers, Cignetti hasnāt cobbled together a miracle season with some kids he plucked from an Indiana cornfield. This teamālike all great teams todayāhas been bought.ā
At the end of 2021 their NIL āwar chestā had $150k in it. Needless to say itās grown a bit since Cignetti got there. Good for them, though. Letās do that here.
I tried telling everybody this on another string.
Cuban is their sugar daddy!
Why wouldnāt anybody listen?
Vindication is mine.
That is the writerās opinion and it grossly wrong. It is another uninformed piece. These writers have to do a minimum of homework.
How many five and four stars does Indiana has vs most teams in the cfp?
Here is the answer when they played Oregon:
8
Total number of 4- and 5-star recruits on Indianaās roster. Oregon had 55. And of those eight Indiana recruits? Not a single one was a 5-star.
Here is a deeper look:

What HC Cignetti has done is by far the best Coaching job in many years.
HCWF is doing the exact same roster build.
This shows this atlantic writer that great coaching with a roster G.Mās approach is the way to beat the bamas, USCās, georgia. It is also another great signal for anyone interested in coaching. Coaching is about teaching, evaluating and building.
Man how lucky are we to have HCWF.
I wonder if a few of you may now understand that my support for Coach Fritz went beyond him being a great guy.
I caught a LOT of c rap on this MB for saying it, butā¦
ā¦He is a GREAT Coach as well !
Last year, my floor was 7 Wins and a bowl.
My ceiling was 10-3, if the Coogs stayed healthy.
In 2026, my floor and ceiling will go up, but itās just too early to pin it down until after Spring ball and seeing how healthy the roster is in Fall Campā¦
Go Coogs !
how could there be any doubt fritz was not a great coach, he has won big at every level; but that may not cut it now as college football is in the deep pockets era where a college football team can be bought, see texas tech; can the coogs win in this era ? we shall see.
thereās plenty of big money UH alumns that could buy the coogs a football team, maybe the traditionalists might not like it but you know texas, the aggies and LSU are down with buying a team; the coogs and alumns with money need to get on board and dig deep; else the FCS is a nice league to play in.
There are a LOT of teams that spent way more than UH this past year who didnāt fare as well as the Coogs.
