You’re looking at it as a binary choice, which isn’t the way Sampson operates; otherwise, LJ would never run point. There are clearly times when LJ brings the ball up and initiates the offense while Milos is in the game.
It’s not an either/or decision.

We still have the transfer portal to go. i dont think coach is close to finish for next year’s roster.
Depends who leaves.
But out of the starting blocks we’re projected to have a good team.

As of today i think Flemings be our shortest player on scholly.

He was on campus last year a lot as well….working out, etc.
He might still get a little taller, too - he has the kind of build that looks like he’s not done.

I really hope TA sticks around. I think he’s just starting to tap his potential, and he’d be great with Jo Jo at forward with Cenac at center. Obviously would like to see Milos back as well, but we’ll just have to see about that.

So he came to Houston right in middle of the Tourney he was playing in w Cincy ?
They just lost last night to UCF.

Not to bad mouth the kid but his team was playing in The Crown Basketball Tournament yesterday. Hard to say James was completely focused on the game, if he was at UH this week. To be fair, James played in the game yesterday and scored 10 points in 26 minutes of play. If I was a coach, I would question his focus and judgment and ask “Is this a team-first player?”
You guys love the drama on this board. I think everyone is in agreement that Flemings backs up Milos next year if Milos stays. The question is if Milos leaves then is Flemings stepping into the starting role as a true freshman and is he ready to be the starting PG on a National Championship team or is Houston bringing in a Milos replacement? A Milos replacement isn’t a backup transfer point guard so the debate is whether or not Flemings is ready to replace Milos in the event he leaves for the NBA

Guys I was completely wrong. Got some bad intel from someone who’s normally pretty connected. Jizzle was not in Houston this week. I didn’t realize they were still playing, apparently he didn’t either
