He won’t start at PG, he will contribute though, a backup role to Milos or whoever we bring in, which is absolutely ok for a freshman

Milos coming back would be nice. I think people overplay his age but lots of players are 24 right now and are star players who turned down the nba. And hes not a guaranteed first rd player imo. Houston nil may be the strongest according to Jo.

What @pesik said is not true……some said that he will have to redshirt….others said he was not that good after watching ONE GAME against Bellaire….others kept saying “don’t get caught young” insisting that what CKS said once years ago is the gospel……and using it as a way to say freshman will some how have to wait or get in line for playing time.
There has been all kinds of silliness….

I’d be surprised if he stayed though he is only a junior and there’s a shot he could still raise his stock another year since the nba has kinda seen a bit of uptick in 4 year college guys getting drafted and playing relatively early on lol
if someone said shead wasnt an great shooter, does that mean they arent all in all shead??? or you recognize shead was elite despite not being an elite shooter

ive said he is a great at everything but shooting from the start… even the shooting i noted its probably a a C level , not a complete non shooter
here are my takes froM the start: if milos leaves, i thiNk we’ll target someone we expect can start… if it was one of the 4 names mentioned earlier i thiNk 3 of the 4 are pretty strong locks to start over him, but and even the 4th jizzle, id lean jizzle over kingston but wouldnt say lock… (and for future reference this includes development by sampson in the offseason for those transfer, not how they looked not in our program)
i have never said he was bad, or even close… i noted his shot needs work and referenced most scouting reports that have noted the exact same things
he is playing, starting or not
People might need to wrap their head around if certain players leave We might have 3 freshmen as Starters

saying a true freshmen wont start but gets 20+ mins a game, is also not statement that i think they are bad

I see Kingston having a similar role as Christian Anderson at Texas Tech. Key contributor off the bench
We also have to factor in defense. Having 3 freshman start for you, you’re not gonna be that gritty defensive team
if Milos and TA leave i can easily see Kingston and Harwell slide into lineup.

4 seed/5 seed team.
It would be fun seeing them grow. But alot of mistakes early if this was the group

thing about the portal this year. the best players are more likely going to be signed by Monday because of the House Settlement coming Monday.
It might be some middle tier talent left. Kids are signing now for bigger deals

He has incredible vision and does a fantastic job of getting the ball to his guys in a good position to score.
IMO , he is the best true PG in the nation for his class.
