You obviously donât get it. Power conferences get teams in every year with bad conference records because they have Quad 1 games and their RPI is high. Why do you think we werenât even close when we finished 2nd in the AAC a couple of years ago?

Nice bounce back by the offense.
Very puzzled with how the coaches handled Solis today. He walks three in the 6th but manages to get out of it. But then we bring him back out for the 7th where he gives up back to back singles and then hits a guy before we go to Roman with no outs. This was a 6-2 ballgame at the time. Surely someone had to be warming up during the 6th when Solis walked three. Did we not have anyone warming up between the 6th and 7th? I wouldâve thought weâd change pitchers to start the 7th or at least after one guy got on.
That would have made too much sense

The fact that he had to go to his closer that early means he doesnât trust most of his relieversâŠ.does not bode well when they start playing teams with a pulse.

Exactly the point Iâm making. In the power conferences like the SEC, you finish with a 13-17 conference record and make the tourney. Losing SEC games on the road to ranked teams will help you.
