Well, we’ve spent some $ on bringing in Weigman in. Extended CKS contract (rightfully so!!), hired a new coach for the WBB (as well as his assistants).
It’s safe to say we are a bit on a budget now.
Regardless, I will be watching UH Baseball next season.
I know zilch about the inner workings of college athletic departments, but how can Whitting coming back possibly be justified with the other HC changes Nunez has made?
Congrats! I’m sure you are a happy guy….not one word of input during the entire season……but the first guy to come in and excitedly announce to everyone a hugely unpopular decision….
You are a super cool guy, we’ll see about getting you a medal.
I had season tickets for 31 seasons until this past season. I will not spend another penny on UH baseball until he is gone.
I love baseball, but I cannot stand the product Todd is running out there on the field for the last 3 to 4 years. Todd just seems lazy and inept to me, and I can’t stand the sight of him.

Hey Nostradamus…what’s the Lotto numbers tonight ?
Yet somehow I knew NOT to count on Whitting being fired.
Not sure everybody here did.
Maybe they needed to get a clue in some cases.
Just sayin’!

This is complete BS…100% proof the Ath Dept doesn’t give 2 flying f&@k$ about baseball…CTW has had 15 years in this hot bed of baseball talent and he just hasn’t gotten it done unfortunately. Garbage
Todd Whitting has turned our baseball program into an ugly fat woman and keeping him another year will require even more liposuction and plastic surgey to make it look good again.
The issue is settled for a year. Not going to tell you guys how to live but give it a rest for a bit and support the 2026 team (or dont) thats your call. Im going to do my part for next year and send some money (maybe they can buy a new batting tee on me) and go to some games when I can travel in.
That way, Instead of sitting in the dugout, eating Cheetos and drinking Powerade, Whitting will be coaching third base and actually watching the game. He won’t need an assistant to inform him he needs to challenge a call on the field.
