I hope this game is part of a doubleheader in the Houston Hoops Showdown, which LSU played in 2023 against Texas, and UH beat Texas A&M (I had to get that dig in to my Aggie friends).
Will Wade is building quite the pro/international/transfer team at LSU.

Really canāt say anything bad against the matchups weāve had there @ TC, with aggies, Auburn and seminoles. Been blessed to have attended all 3 (4 if you count the ut vs. lsu game). Donāt plan on missing the UH vs. lsu matchup if it happens.

There is talk that LSU football playing UH at NRG 2025 and 2027, LSU basketball playing in Houston twice in three years, 2023 and hopefully, 2026, and UH AD Eddie Nunez working previously at the LSU Athletic Department for 14 years, LSU is considering sponsoring UH for membership in the SEC.
