2026 Big 12 conference

$515 would be the close equivalent to my seats at TDECU, but I pay much less than that with UH pricing. $640 equivalent location for seats at Amon Carter, but again pay much less than that. BYU is expensive seating, but good they can get it and still have really good attendance numbers.

Imo Colorado State (Fort Collins) >>>> UCF (Orlando)

Little known fact… both spots have some dope breakbeats…

Yeah. Then you get you tack on the fee to be part of cougar club to buy the tickets. Before cougar club my seats are $69 per game this year. Not bad at all.

There is a very real chance I go to 10 games next year. Uncle lives in Fort Collins. Different uncle has an air bnb in Orlando. I live near Utah. Then the home games.

Man… haven’t made that many games in one season since I lived in Houston and I’m still not sure I ever made 10 football games in one season…

This kind of thing is not sustainable. Something has to change:

Need those dates! Me and a buddy are already talking about a trip up to Utah for the game! We need to travel better as a fan base.

Something to consider for Iowa State. At WSU, your new coach brought in 71 players last year. He went 6 - 6 before the bowl game. Here are the losses.

North Texas - 10-59
Washington - 24-59
Ole Miss - 21-24
Virginia - 20-22
Oregon State - 7-10
James Madison - 20-24

So WSU losses were to two playoff teams. Two teams who played for their conference championships.

I think Iowa State made a good hire and someone who knows how to build a team from scratch.

Yeah that’s part of what made him attractive. The two choices were promote a young 1st time HC from within which would have retained most of the roster…or start from scratch w/ Jimmy Rogers.

We chose the latter, and his resume as a modern builder who does more with less in this era was a key factor. Wazzou had no business hanging with Ole Miss and JMU.

What I will say about CJR is:

A) Everything you astutely mentioned. Word-for-word.

B) Our lifer AD and TJ Otz (along with a couple other people w/ ties to both places)… think the world of Jimmy Rogers.

C) He is a no nonsense grinder who brings a similarly wired staff. He’s gonna out work anybody, make no excuses, and leave no stone unturned.

Whether these 3 things in totality actually translate into wins at ISU is unknown and debatable. He’s gonna have as big of a hill to climb as anyone.

We’re still getting to know Jimmy Rogers…

What has become readily apparent is he’s less polished and less detail-orientated than his predecessor. Less calculated, less of father figure and CEO…more of a Warrior General who leads from the front to inspire. He’s actually kind of hard to digest, in a good way.

Matt Campbell was packaged in way for optimal human consumption. Rogers, by contrast, is not so much trying to find a creative edge, as much he is looking for guys that are wired the same way he is. Guys that would rather smash thru the front door simply because it’s there. He’s never walked a fine line in his entire life.

He’s from Chandler, Arizona. He was essentially unrecruited out of HS. 2 inches too short, 2 steps too slow, and 20 lbs too small.

How did he end up a starter and team captain in Brookings, SD? The same way he ended up the Head Coach at ISU…

Right thru the front door.

Fast forward to 21:15… You won’t regret it.

We should be ok.

Word on the street is there’s already an unopened box containing the unused body of a Cat :cat2: unclaimed and up for grabs.

Somewhere down in Kansas, I hear…

We beat them so often, they probably already owe us that creepy head at this point. (The Cat one, I mean. They can keep Tang by all means.) @2002Coog

So no worries, Guys. Problem solved :muscle::muscle:

EDIT: Wouldn’t mind poaching that Womp Womp tho… :eyes:
