Next year we need a Dominant o-line, that can help execute the playcalling of our very competent OC…
Running this offense with an above average offensive line. Lol. When’s the last time that’s happened around here dude!
lol. Slade Nagle is way better than anything we have had in a long time.
I love him taking shots. Weigman needs to hit his receivers.
I thin Weigman is hurt.
He has regressed, but I think it’s due to injuries that the public maybe doesn’t know about.
He’s always dealt with nagging injuries throughout his career
You helped me make my point.
The past is the past.
Willie is the future.
O-lines don’t change as fast as other position groups; unless you have 10’s of millions of $ to buy the best players in the portal; and Willie has made clear he’s not going that route. He’s building a Program, not buying a team.
If you don’t think Willie knows the o-line needs to be better, I don’t know what to tell you.
I know he is working on it and will get it fixed.
We’re 8-3 in a power 4 conference. Same as…
Pitt
SMU
ASU
AZ
USC
Wazzou
Tex
Tenn
Don’t believe they are ready to do away with their HCs. In fact, several of them are in the hunt for even better jobs.
And… FYI, most have been at their programs longer than Willie.
Wazzou isn’t power 4
think he meant Washington, who just joined the Big Ten
“Wazzou" is the colloquial nickname for Washington State University(WSU), a public land-grant research university in Pullman, Washington. The term is widely used by fans and is sometimes featured on athletic uniforms. It can also refer to the 1971 film “Le wazzou polygame” (also known as “The Polygamist’s Morale”), a Nigerien/French drama film about polygamy.

Nickname: “Wazzu” is a nickname commonly used by fans for the university and its athletic teams, such as the football team, which is nicknamed the “Cougars”.
We have never been able to recruit the type of O-Line that Fritz needs to be very successful.
Never.
And we lose a lot this year in the trenches.
I hope he is capable of doing that. And not 7 years later.
We do? I thought we only lose Brooks, Wykoff, and Melton?
One thing that’s certain is that an offense like this year’s won’t either unless it’s paired with an all-time great defense, and even then…
The offensive system isn’t the point, though. Virtually any of our “video game” offenses would have put us in the CCG this year because we had speed all over the field and multiple playmakers, and OCs that did a great job of utilizing those players. I’m not sure we have any of those things right now.
I agree. I think he was nursing something during the WVU game which is why there were so few run plays for him
Yeah, his throws have been noticeably less accurate the last couple games. Something’s up. Dude came into the season throwing darts.
I was saying several weeks ago that but was assured that it would have been disclosed if that were the case. ![]()
It’s pretty obvious, imo.
You found all that info. Now google their record. Hint: it isn’t 8-3.
And Wazzou also isn’t power 4
We lose those, but we also need to replace 1-2 others if we want to see improvement.
Also, when I said “in the trenches”, I was including D-Line loses too.
I think Willie is on the right track, and I think he has us ahead of schedule on the rebuild.
It’s nice to be 8-3 and possibly 9-3, however not all 8-3’s are the same.
Just like Dana’s 12-1 wasn’t the same as most 12-1’s……
We were very fortunate with our weak schedule this year.
It won’t be that way next year.
Our trenches will need some major addressing. Major.
Maybe CW’s shoulder is hurt again who knows, but he seemed to have enough time in the pocket to get his throws off
