Bruce Branch is probably going to end up at BYU.

Houston best chance is Caleb Holt.

You have this on good authority? Or just your opinion?

Along with at least 20 other schools, according to On3. Wake me when UH makes his top 5.

Just a gut feeling. I try to read every article out there about his recruitment. Plus someone mentioned he only follows BYU on instagram and recently had a visit there. After playing second fiddle and in the shadow of Caleb Holt in high school, i could see him trying to be the man in college like AJ Dybantsa.

I think Cenac comes back to toughen up unless he is a lottery pick.

A Cenac and Diane front court? Pinch me, I’m dreaming.

I wouldn’t count Cenac out just yet. Things are starting to click for him.

I don’t think he comes back regardless I just really think he wants to start his professional career and get on with it

If I was Cenac, I’d start my pro career ASAP.

You don’t turn down a first round contract even if you’re not a lottery pick.

Kansas is killing it with recruiting.

This class is so loaded with Fr phenoms it might be possible to see some comeback in who in other years would have definitely entered.

After 2-3 more college years he will really shine. if he gets a covid 5th year he may make the lottery. The NBA lottery is littered with upper classmen. This proves you should stay in college for more seasoning

Arafan Diane has officially become a McDonald’s All American. Top target Caleb Holt also made it.

Also Cenac is a top 4 pick in 27 draft class looking at those rosters. Could make him a lot more money :man_shrugging:t2:

But he def played himself into the lottery imo.

Hard to turn that down.

Does anyone have a real sense of how Caleb Holt is leaning? He’s warmer on Houston & Arizona, but he seems to have a great relationship with Bama.

I have seen from sources is that he is leaning Arizona

These drag out recruitments almost never go in our favor. There are many blue blood staffs willing to bend over backwards in every which way increasing their offers to sign the Star recruit who may be leveraging their commitment for a max deal or whatever is going on so late in the process.

As far as next year’s bigs. I’m expecting Cenac to leave for the draft but Tugler to return for his Senior year and play next to big boy Arafan. I think having a monster like Arafan in the paint will allow Tugler to fly around and clean up a bunch of blocks defensively. Maybe Tugler even goes back to working on his 3 with us swapping out Cenac’s outside game for a more traditional big man next year in Arafan.
