People tend be more open to out of state recruiting for basketball than football like every kid in Texas is a FBS elite starter

Jaivion is a high 3 star so our recruiting ranking went up to 33. I think this is our highest ranking ever.
We would love some more 4 stars, but even a few more 3 stars will probably push us up in the 20s.
This is A LOT BETTER than being ranked in the 70s and 80s under CDH.

I think Texas State pulled out the bags for Lakeyleon Graves. It will probably be nearly impossible to get him to flip.

Let us hope 
He was the highest rated player in the state that hadn’t committed so definitely a quality pick up for CWF. Gives us a 6th player ranked in the top 75 in the state. Pretty comparable to the other top teams in the state like A&M and Tech.

If I’m not mistaken I believe that technically the class is currently ranked in the 20’s by 247. The 33 next to UH is the composite ranking while underneath it is the 29 in the box which signifies the 247sports ranking.

Plus they offered him free rides back up the river for the next ten years….you can’t undervalue free rides so you can float as many times as your heart desires.

We’re even higher if you go off average recruit ranking. It’s definitely a good class and reason why people should still be very optimistic about the future under Fritz. The guy can flat out recruit.
