The Big 10 only has ONE of these QBs, yet “The Big 12 is a G5 conference.”
And the 1 school they have on this list is from the Pac 12 ![]()

With things like Google Earth, I’m not sure there is much of a market for globes.
@Joprior23 any updates on if we should be adding more commitments before signing day?
Yes. At least 3.

Keisean is now the #7 overall ranked player on Rivals/On3. He is a consensus top 10 prospect on all 3 major recruiting platforms.
#2 overall player on 247.
#4 overall player on ESPN.
#7 overall player on Rivals/On3.
I think Agnello is done after this year. And I’m right there with you on Bowie. I hope he pans out
Agnello is a junior per the official roster.
66 McKenzie Agnello OL 6’ 4’’ 314 Jr.
And with this ranking change, Keisean is now the 2nd highest ranked player in the class on 247 in both the 247 ranking and composite.
Keisean also passed up Ed Oliver in the Composite rating to be the highest ranked recruit in University of Houston history in the modern recruiting era.
There is not enough hype on this forum about getting Keisean. UH is about to sign the Consensus #1 QB in America. That hasn’t happened at this school since Warren Mcvea was signed. This is not supposed to happen in the modern era.
This is not supposed to happen in the modern era.
I disagree - this is exactly what’s supposed to happen.
The hype around recruited classses typically doesn’t begin until Summer of the same year
The hype will come just be patient (especially if UH finishes the season ranked)
UH had the lowest athletic department budget in the P4 last year.
And? Ask basketball how that’s hurting them.
Athletic budgets do not equal recruiting success (or failure) - there are simply too many other factors involved to point at that one. We got rid of the last coach because he wasn’t recruiting, so the expectation was that WF would turn that around. He has, which is what was expected.
There’s no need to play the “poor me” card - that’s not who we are.
The ecosystem of college Basketball is entirely different than college football. Schools don’t invest in basketball like they do in football. There is a reason UH is able to afford a good basketball team, and it’s because it doesn’t cost much relative to football.
When was the last time we saw a #1 consensus QB go to a school that wasn’t a Top 25 school in blue chip ratio?
This. does. not. happen. Period. And in the 2027 cycle the highest rated QB is predicted to go to Alabama.
I’m not saying “poor me.” But I also understand UH’s past and present position in the hierarchy of college football. This is not supposed to happen, which is good because it shows Willie Fritz and UH are starting to break the norm of this school. That’s how you build a good program, similar to what he did at Tulane.
That’s not really true and you know it.
Kentucky has a $22m roster this season. For basketball.
Do you think we’re in a good place with Trez Davis?
Yes
Great! Getting Davis would make potentially Loosing Warren to the Aggies hurt less
Kentucky has a $22m roster this season. For basketball.
But that’s an NIL thing, not an “athletic budget” - as you know, those are separate deals.
When was the last time we saw a #1 consensus QB go to a school that wasn’t a Top 25 school in blue chip ratio?
Last year Nebraska signed a QB ranked the same as Henderson, according to 247, and they’re ranked in the 30s somewhere.
I get your point. Henderson is a huge addition, and that has been heavily publicized and hyped up here. People are still going to remain cautiously optimistic until he’s on campus, though.
The Big 10 only has ONE of these QBs, yet “The Big 12 is a G5 conference.”
And the 1 school they have on this list is from the Pac 12
And THREE from our inferior conference. Lol
How many $20M+ rosters are there in college basketball versus college football? $15M+?
How much money is Texas putting into their football program versus basketball program? Texas tech? Ohio state? A&M? Bama? Tennessee? USC? Florida? UNC? Oklahoma?
Even Nebraska is an outlier that isn’t in the top 25 blue chip ratio. Considered a blue blood of the sport before their 20+ years of mediocrity leading up to now.
