Merryman, Hunter, Ebosele and Agnello are all juniors. They’ll be back if they want to be. Crawford is a soph, Bowie and Ronnell McLain are freshman, theyll all be back. NDukwe is a senior, but may be granted an extra year after the bad injury…We will see about him.

Unless Bowie has a medical RS, he’s currently a RS Sophomore. Also, I think Ndukwe is a lock to receive a medical RS

He has a normal redshirt, a Juco year, and a medical redshirt. He should have at least 1 more season of eligibility due to the Juco rule & possibly another year due to his medical redshirt at Tech.

We’ll have some depth at both guard positions. Only problem is, the 2 & 3-deep will be extremely young. We should probably bring in 1-2 experienced guards to bridge the gap

He already has had 5 seasons, 3 at Western Kentucky and 2 here. He has already earned a Master of Science degree in Global Retailing in December 2024 – that’s impressive. He may want to move on and get on with his career in global marketing. But a medical redshirt may be possible.
Regardless of OL who stay and who go, UH needs to have the recruiting and transfer mentality to upgrade every position on the OL. Really, that should be the mentality with every position.

I understand your post. But O Line is the most coveted position in the portal
Ive heard so many teams, say their O Line aint good. Need a LT or RT to compete.

I’m pretty sure CWF is on top of that. I am sure he knows which of his HS recruits will be ready to move up to the 2 deep. I am sure he will also get the best he can from the portal. I am confident that whomever we play next season will be the best we could get or afford.
