Only two hosts in regional round from Big 12. Both advanced. And nobody was 2 and Q’ed.
Nearly half of host schools flopped.

Good for West Virginia….the Mountaineers and Jayhawks have shown the blueprint.
Of course those two will need to rely on the Portal heavily year after year.
UH should not have to do that….the first couple , yes….but after the first couple of years UH should only need to add a handful of key portal kids each year.
