2026 Schedule Released

There’s a strong chance this winds up being the first time since 2018 that I haven’t made it to a road game. Just a downright dreadful lineup.

Easy home schedule. Take those 6 wins at home plus the away trip to GA Southern and that’s 7 should be wins. Find a way to go 3-2 at Tech, Utah, Colorado, WVU and KSU and we are 10-2. Need to be better at home. This schedule gives us the chance to do that. The early road trip to Tech I like. We were a well oiled machine ending last season and I expect that to carry over into early next season.

What is wrong with Boulder, Salt Lake or Statesboro? I usually take one roadie, I can’t decide.

If a person likes Nature it’s hard to beat Utah and Colorado

No doubt about that. Been to both. Great places to visit.

I would like to add West Virginia. Plenty of places around Morgantown. It’s not Utah or Colorado, but it is worth a visit.

West Virginia should be on everyone’s bucket list, a top 5 beautiful state. Those winding, treelined mountain roads are like no other. Get off the highways to see the real WV.

I suspect we will keep the schedule as is. Nunez was reported to have lobbied Yormark to not have any week night games due to it’s negative impact on attendance. So far, I have been very pleases with him as our AD.

I haven’t seen any team with a non-Saturday game on its released schedule. There will certainly be changes.

I could see the Cincy game moving to Thursday or Friday, as well as KState on the road. And of course, we have a history with Game 1 on the schedule.

think UH is gonna take em. game is early in the year and we have our starting QB returning. completely different situation than this past yr

Last year when they released the schedule we had non Saturday games listed, the same for previous years.

In January?

It just isn’t possible that the conference isn’t going to have any weekday games, yet nobody has them listed yet.

Our opening Thursday game last season wasn’t announced until late spring/early summer, at the earliest.

The two Friday game changes were released in March.

Not sure why it is hard to understand that the only team you care about is your own team and that is the reason you go see the game. I can care less if UT and ATM plays in the NRG. Will never see me going to that game or any game where Coogs are not involved. Someone will have to pay me for that.

Statesboro is extremely inconvenient to reach for a game of that magnitude, and Utah and Colorado are timed inconveniently relative to some other plans I’ve already made. If I make one, it’s likely to be WVU.

Lubbock is an easy roadie…saddle up boys, we got to be there for some payback !

I will always take 10-2, unless we’re 10-0 going into the eleventh game!

given the season they had this year, next season will be a disappointment if they lose more than two; they really should only lose one; likely at tech; but at utah and at kansas state are not givens but they should be.

11-1 and playing for the conference championship should be the expected goals and staff not happy if they fall short.

If you have ever been to Manhattan in October, it is not fun, back to back roadies will not be easy, Tech will be Tech, there will be surprises, maybe Utah, maybe Oregon, but 10-2 would be awesome.

I have previously complained about this silly Sunbelt road game. This would of been a bad move even if we were still in AAC.

I’d rather be in the ground than in Lubbock.
