Gotta convert this quantity into quality at some point.

I don’t see any lack of quality…

I suppose we’re currently ranked higher than TxTech mainly bc we have more recruits atm.

If they had 15 (like we do) instead of 9, then maybe theyd be higher than us.

Sure… but they don’t!

I would rather have more 4 and 5 stars but it’s good nonetheless.

OK, I’m getting restless; it’s been hours since we got another commit.

Can you remember a time when we had this many commitments this early in the recruiting season? I can’t.

I know in the past we have said our recruits were not ranked correctly but I feel it’s extra true this year. The measurables on some of our recruits seem higher than their ranking.

Yes indeed. Several recruits will rise in the star rating as we approach FB season. It is just we saw them early and developed a relationship with them. Other postings say we are working on the 2028 class now as well .
Go Coogs !

I hope that we continue at this rate all the way through signing day!

Really liking the young men who are committing.

I also believe the “quality” is there.

Willie is getting them early before their stock rises.

I especially like all the massive linemen coming on board.

These kids are all top 1200 in the COUNTRY……they can play.

After the top 300 kids you can throw a net around the next 1000 and they are going to be VERY close in talent.

I need to give a shout out to the great job Coach Fritz and his entire coaching staff have done this recruiting cycle. The fact that UH has had stability in it’s coaching staff, with no major departures, and some key additions has played well with recruits. The two additions are Marcus Trice, CB Coach, and Michael Bishop, Offensive Assistant.

You don’t have success in recruiting without building relationships, and UH’s staff across the board seems to be connecting with recruits. UH’s primary recruiting area is the Houston metropolitan area, but have snagged recruits from Louisiana, North Texas and the Austin area. The wider the geographic base, the more interest you get from recruits.

Of course, success plays a role in recruiting, and UH is building off of it’s 10 win season, opening the door to some recruits who liked UH in the past, but wanted to play in a major conference.

Between revenue sharing and NIL, UH seems to be holding its own, and in a responsible way, unlike other programs who would flunk the ROI test. UH could use more NIL, which is an evergreen statement for every program.

I may get in trouble for omitting some coaches, but shout out to Slade Nagle, OC, and Austin Armstrong, DC, Shawn Bell, AHC and QB Coach, Brian Bell, WR Coach, Eman Naghavi, OL and Oscar Giles, DL.
