I dont know if we are truly prepared for what our WR corps could like this fallâ:fire:
Athlon All Big 12 preseason teams. Note each team has more than 11 on offense/defense. Donât know why.
Offense
1st team - WR Golden
2nd team - OL Paul
3rd team - NULL
4th team - C Freeman
Thatâs 3 out of 58 picks. I guess on the bright side, 2 OL are on the list.
Defense
1st team - NULL
2nd team - NULL
3rd team - DL Ceasar, DB Haulcey
4th team - NULL
Thatâs 2 out of 56
Specialists
0 for 16 spots
Total 5 out of 130 spots.
Cannot wait to see what Golden does this season. I have a feeling he is gonna be a one man highlight reel.
I wonder had we been in the B12 the past 3-4 years how many of what would be UH draft picks would have made 1st or 2nd team.
Kevin Kolb, Tyus Bowser, Logan Hall, Marcus Jones. Expanded to all time coogs, thought erob couldve been drafted higher.
Well why not go back to the 90s.
The point being that because âitâs UHâ, I have a hard time believing that the âauthoritiesâ who compile such lists would have put at least half of our recent draft picks onto any preseason B12 all-conference teams at all.
Iâm thinking Null is going to be a stud for us
What about Void?
He may make the team if he develops during the off season
I hope both those guys play defense.
I would take Void as a run blocking O-lineman.
Data guy shorthand
Thanks for posting this article. Not happy about projected wins, but nice to see Campbell thinks UH is where it should be.
Also that Dana Holgorson should be a viable coach in Big12 and he sees a lot of positives in our players compared to TCU.
Of course we still have to play the games and show up.
Read somewhere, but donât remember where, that we have one of the most difficult schedules around. Any one know?
I do remember seeing a post on here or TOS where someone had a link that showed we had the 6th toughest schedule.
This is the only reason I feel comfortable about our QB situation. If Dana knows anything itâs how to find and develop a good QB
In all fairness, he didnât âfindâ Case, Art did, but perhaps he developed him.
