Better $$$ and a school that is committed to basketball as opposed to filler between football and spring football and they got further in the NCAA tournament than A$M did, S16 vs. R32.

âBuzz wanted to leave to go anywhere else. He has a career of leaving schools after 6 or so years and those schools not really being sorry he left. He is a high floor / low ceiling guy, heâll continue to be a high floor / low ceiling guy for the next 5-6 years at Maryland and then move on again.â

No offense to Kellen, but I donât think you swing and miss at Chris Beard and then settle for him. Iâd bet heâs a couple of spots farther down the pecking order than theyâll go.

Buzz is a way different Coach than most. Night and day difference from Sampson.
Buzz has earned the name âInstagram Coachâ at A&M. He tweets constantly. Filled with emojis and feel good stories. At times it seems like mentoring the players is more important than coaching. He has book reading lists that he talks about as well.
I donât think he cares about money. Just emotionally fueled post game slow motion videos on X.
He is a tad obtuse.
Actually Kellen going to ATM might not be so bad if we get him back in due time. The thing about having different jobs is you get to see how NOT to do things as much as HOW TO do things. I was at a coaching conference one time and this ATM coach says âWe are known for our checkbook.â Besides the cows, the farmers do very little with the very most.

I am shocked we have not heard A&M has reached out to Kelvin at this point, if they donât reach out to Kellen, well his agent, they are dumb. I seriously doubt he entertains it with the new class coming in and Kelvin approaching retirement.

They fired the last guy that took them to a Sweet 16 - Kennedy, I think. They dumped him to hire Buzz.

Tony Barone. Tony was a winning head coach at Creighton and was hired by A&M to do the same.Tony fell a little short. His overall record at A&M was 76-120.
