So, the Coogs are in their heads… living rent-free which is hard to do these days…

So many great memories of Yeoman, Guy V., Dave Williams, Tellez, et al…it’s been a great ride.
We have a lot of work to do to reach that status, but Sampson is showing the way. Go Coogs!

We need to be in a bowl game or competing for one in the last week or this season is a failure. Competing for the Big 12 championship? Yeah we aren’t there yet

Generally agree, but I put it this way. Good facilities may not be THE reason a recruit signs, but it certainly can be the main reason a recruit does not sign. Substandard facilities is a clear sign of the university’s commitment, or lack thereof, to the program. Imagine being a recruit and comparing average facilities to some of the palaces being built.

Think what kind of message UH sent in the 1990s when it played at Robertson Stadium, a refurbished high school stadium, and a run down Hofheinz Pavillion, with plumbing issues and rats big enough to play the front line.

Just to keep up and give us a chance.

And the facilities race happened before the NIL madness started.

Still, having top-notch facilities is kind of “table stakes” when you’re trying to recruit. If they didn’t matter, you wouldn’t see Sampson continually pushing for upgrades to what’s already a great set-up.

Put Criss @ slot? That way he’s out there in the offense and has less of a chance getting plastered. He plays in the offense and we can put him QB if we need to. Isn’t that what UH did the Greg Ward?

Since everybody has top notch facilities, there has to be another ingredient that separates you from the pack.
