Anti-Palistinianism can be ignored

No it doesn’t. That’s an incredibly biased claim.

Not all Arab/muslim states support Israel. Perhaps for reasons you and I don’t culturally agree with, but still, that’s a biased claim

How are you going to accuse anyone of brainwashing while backing it up with a post like this.

Israel has been in control of Gaza even prior to the election of Hamas.

The election of Hamas was an option of last resort considering how bad Israel has treated Palestinians.

Just a dumb post honestly.

2005 was not a 2 state solution. It was a lopsided deal that heavily favored Israel.

Israel still had control over Gaza’s economy, maritime and airspace, and they had no ability to build a military.

That’s not a 2 stage solution. That’s severely and purposely limited a state’s ability to grow.

You keep asking why Israel is held to a different standard. Well why does the right to self determination not also apply to Palestine?

Now you’re putting words in my mouth. I never said “support”. I said the entire world benefits from Israel. You can’t deny the advancements they’ve made in:

  • technology - things like Waze, text messaging, USB flash drives, etc.
  • Agriculture - drip irrigation, cherry tomatoes, etc
  • military - defense systems like the Iron Dome
  • Medicine - they are making incredible advancements in ALS and Parkinson’s, bone marrow transplants, stem cell research, etc.

These are facts, not bias.

You keep saying “Palestine”. There has never been an Arab or Muslim state/nation called “Palestine”. We are talking about Gaza. The Gazans have been under self rule since 2005. If they had no ability to build a military, how have they been able to launch rocket after rocket at Israel? They could have built a thriving economy if they weren’t so focused on killing Jews. They destroyed the water supply and the greenhouses Israel left for them. They did this to themselves.

Arab states benefit from all sorts of inventions from other countries vice versa. The USA benefited from oil imports from gulf states.

That’s just capitalism.

That doesn’t mean that Israel is a benefit for their cultural values or religious values.

You’re essentially trying to justify or absolve injustice due to capitalism.

I agree that the USA benefits and other western countries benefit from Israel, but it’s at the expense of Palestinians via blockades, economic limitation, and as of today, a genocide

Stop trying to absolve yourself from the negative.

Who cares about names

Palestine. Palestinians. Gaza. You know what I’m referencing.

Gaza has never had any path to self determination. Being able to get weapons and rockets is not the same as building a sanctioned, internationally recognized military force.

In no case have They have been able to build an economy. How can a population (does this work for you?) build an economy when they have extremely limited control over their own trade?

Israel will not allow Gaza to grow or build. Israel severely limits what can happen in Gaza out of their own protection. → you think Gaza is okay with this? No they are not. So in response, they have to retaliate because they feel there’s no other option.

If all you care about is Jews dying, then why don’t you just support ethnic cleansing Palestine? That’s how you stop from future attacks and stop Jews from being killed.

Otherwise, Israel will have to continue dealing with Palestinians retaliation because Israel won’t allow them self determination.

Palestinian self determination is a direct threat to Israel → which is a threat to US interests → which would affect you and myself.

Do i think it’s fair or justified? Absolutely not. The difference between you and me is I’m aware and calling it for what it is. You keep trying to justify or absolve from the reality of this conflict

Speaking of a dumb post.

“Considering how bad Israel has treated Palestinians”??:rofl:

You won’t answer this question but I’ll ask it anyway.

Who has treated the people of Gaza worse, Hamas or Israel"?

Doesn’t Israel have the highest Nobel Prize winners per capita? Or just outright number?

The Israel-Palestine conflict has existed for numerous decades, close to a century

Hamas was elected in 2006

See you didn’t answer my question nor will you.

I literally just did

Israel has occupied Gaza for almost a century now. The election of Hamas was a last resort option for Palestine to try and achieve any type of self determination.

And by the way (if it makes you feel any better), I don’t advocate for a liberated Palestine, which you can easily note for discussions above.

I’m aware how Israel’s control/occupation of Gaza benefits the USA (which means you and myself), but that doesnt mean I go to great lengths to justify it, unlike many “pro-israel” who try and justify what Israel’s doing to Gaza

Have you looked at that ‘solution’. It was unworkable. If they had split the land up last century in a reasonable manner we would not be having this discussion today.

And in response to some of the other posts.

Might does not make right.

Answer: Both

Dude you’re clueless

If Palestine had any “reasonable” access to more land, that would require less restrictive economic and militaristic activity → which would potentially lead to Palestine attempting an overthrow / invasion of Israel itself

Which for the millionth time, would’ve have caused severe destabilization of the Middle East, thus making your life and my life more difficult in the USA

Are you willing to take a step back for the sole purpose of a demographic of people that could care less about you? Palestinians hate Jews and could care less about western economic interests. Those are 2 totally different yet intertwined facts.

Systemic racism, climate change (issues that plague America) are issues that require socialist/prgressive interventions that would affect the financial positions of many Americans. I would gladly agree to this because why? Because I’m not of the majority demographic, and it would benefit me in the long run.

Advocating for a liberated Palestine would NOT support me, nor would it support YOU. Am i ridden of guilt? No. Is it justified? No. It’s just the reality of what’s happening.

Palestine/Gaza is just an ugly, unfortunate piece of US/Global history. Israel has no choice but to significantly deny Palestinians the right to self determination with US tax payer money or else your own interests are at stake.

Your entire point depends on your assumption that all Palestinians are uncontrollable warring people. It’s prejudicial at its core.

Why won’t other muslim countries take in some “Palistinians?” Ever wonder about that? Even Egypt who shares a border with Gaza won’t let them in.

Don’t you know coexistence is impossible

do you know why there needs to be a thread about antisemitism?

The entire premise of this thread is antisemitic in and of itself.

bottom line is that the majority of the world does not want the Jew to have even an inch.

Liberals conservatives Christians Muslims left right Mason‘s anti-mason‘s Irish Australians French Canadians. They all have one target and that is the Jew.

Muslims are dying from starvation all over the world, the decades and decades and not a peep from the transgendered students at Cornell University but the Palestinians missed one meal after attacking the tiny Jewish nation and all hell breaks loose on campuses at Cornell and everywhere else

We live in a foul world

Because Palestinians tend to get a little “civil warry” or assassination prone everytime they get taken in.
